Would you like to participate in an exciting and innovative role?
Archbishop Sentamu Academy is looking to appoint Parish Assistants to work both in the Academy and its surrounding parishes. Our aim is to offer you a structured way to serve God for about a year in Church and educational settings.
We are looking for people to work as part of our staff team from September 2010 to July 2011. The programme that you would enter would give you a varied experience in a range of settings, you would also be working with students and families from our local community. In return, accommodation will be provided along with living expenses of £200pcm.
You would also receive the opportunity to work amongst a thriving staff and be offered a wide range of training opportunities. As part of the 'A Year at Sentamu Programme' you will also receive weekly Theology sessions with Richard Bradbury, Pastor of Beverley Community Church.
We are looking for people of all ages and experiences as we feel everyone has something to offer our students and our parishes.
